WHAT HAPPENED?
According to , Napoli have had positive talks with Hojlund's representatives as the player is willing to make a move back to Italy. The striker, however, has laid down certain conditions, which include guarantees of his staying at the club on a long-term basis and not just a mere loan move. Talks are ongoing between Napoli and United over a possible transfer now, as the Red Devils are ready to offload the out-of-favour forward.

On Tuesday, had reported that United are open to sending the 22-year-old striker out on loan, with a fee of €5–6 million up front and a buy option in the €35–40 million (£30-£34.5m/$40-$47m) range. Other than the Italian champions, AC Milan are also interested in signing Hojlund.
